WAGON TAIL RANCH RATES AND POLICIES
All dogs need to be evaluated before coming to the ranch.
REQUIREMENTS: Well socialized and get along with dogs of all ages and sizes with no aggressive behavior. Current vaccines are required.
All dogs must be spayed or neutered by the age of 6 months.
Unfortunately we are full right now and can not accept any new dogs.

BOARDING Check in 11:00am – Check out: 2:00pm
We close promptly at 7:00pm. We do not answer the phone after 7pm.
BOARDING RATES:
Boarding per night: $90.00
Puppies $95.00
Each additional dog: $75.00
Each Additional puppy: $80.00
*Seniors with special needs: $95.00
*Holidays: $10.00 per dog
Daycare while boarding: Included daily while boarding. Arrival day: Daycare starts at 11am. Departing day: Daycare included until 2:00pm
Medications & or supplements: $5.00 per day per dog if over 3 items per dog
*Holiday charges are on the holiday or the coordinating weekend. One $10.00 single charge per dog
Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s Eve and Day.
DAYCARE RATES: 7:00am to 7:00pm
Full day: $50.00
Puppies: $55.00
Each additional dog: $40.00
Each additional puppy: $45.00
5 consecutive days: $215.00 for dogs and $240.00 for puppies
We close promptly at 7pm when our staff leaves. We try not to have pickup after 7pm because sleeping dogs will be disturbed.
If your pickup is approved after 7pm with advance notice the rate is $10.00 up to each 15 minutes per dog.
PLAYDATES:
10:00am to 2:00pm or 11:00am – 3:00pm (no exceptions on times)
Per Dog: $40.00 Per Puppy: $45.00
BOARDING DROP OFF TIMES: 7am – 3pm or 5pm – 5:30pm
BOARDING PICKUP TIMES: 7am – 6:30pm MUST BE APPROVED AFTER 6:30pm $10.00 per 15 minutes per dog
Drop off before 11:00am: $5.00 per hour per dog
Pickup after 2:00pm: $5.00 per ½ hour per dog
No Drop off Between 3pm & 5pm: We are feeding the dogs. $40.00 charge per dog.
Drop off after 5:30pm (MUST BE APPROVED): $10.00 per 15 minutes per dog
POLICIES
All dogs must arrive bathed for boarding to keep our home clean and so we can hug & kiss your dog.
If your dog arrives dirty will be bathe them. Charges will apply.
BATHS: BOARDING DOGS ONLY: Since your dogs are recently bathed before they arrive for boarding, we can bathe them before they go home after 5 nights of boarding or in the middle and end of a long stay here.
FLEA MEDICATION: Please apply one week before coming to the ranch.
If your dog arrives with toxic topical flea medication on, they will not be able to come inside. If we notice the flea medication after they come inside, we will have to either call you to pick them up or bathe them. Charges will apply.
NO FLEA COLLARS: They are toxic to other dogs.
FOOD: Food prep instructions are in the WTR folder we give you at the evaluation. You may request another copy. We greatly appreciate you packing the food and meds per our instructions so we can stay organized.
If we need to repackage your food charges will apply from $5.00 to $25.00.
Please make sure you bring enough food and it’s best to bring extra food just in case you are delayed for pickup.
We will return any extra food to you.
DAMAGES: Clients are responsible for any damages at replacement value
VET BILLS: All vet bills due to illness, accident, harm to another dog caused by your dog is the client’s responsibility. If the client has insurance, you will only be billed for the cost after insurance.
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND PET INSURANCE
VET TRAVEL: $35.00 per round trip in Woodland Hills. Additional charges to other areas.
PAYMENT: DUE UPON PICKUP: unless other arrangements are made. An invoice will be emailed to you BEFORE YOU PICKUP YOUR DOG. If you are running later than expected, please call or email. Additional charges will be applied upon pickup if necessary.
Paying upon drop off is fine but please request an invoice in advance.
RESERVATIONS: By email only: Please give us the date & time frame for drop off and pickup.
Please remember we book up for boarding very far in advance especially around all holidays.
Cash or Checks accepted. No other forms of payment taken
Checks are payable to WAGON TAIL RANCH or CASH
We will be happy to email you pictures of your dog while you are away with little updates so you know how they are doing.
You are also welcome email anytime for an additional update.
Your dogs will receive lots of hugs and kisses and we will make them feel right at home so there are no worries for you and no stress for your dog.
